Tip #14: Determine the Minimum System Requirements for Your Operating System
Determine your minimum system requirements before you purchase a software program. Consider what type of operating system and hardware it will be running on, which language version is being used, and how many extensions are included in the package that might need to be installed. It’s always best to have more room for growth than not enough.
A good rule of thumb would be to make sure your computer has at least twice as much RAM or hard drive space when purchasing software packages; otherwise you may run out of memory while working with large files or documents. You’ll also want at least two times as much disk space allocated to speed up loading time when using your software.
-Learn about what your program does before you purchase it. Read the reviews on websites like CNET, PCMag and MacWorld to find out if this is a product that will work for you or not. Remember that just because some articles have positive feedback doesn’t mean there isn’t anything wrong with the software package; read both good and bad comments so you know what issues other people had when using it too.
One of the best things to do would be contacting customer service directly: many companies offer live chat services which can answer questions about their products quickly and easily, as well as taking requests for help installing them correctly onto your computer system. This way, you’ll either get an immediate response or they’ll contact you back at a more convenient time, depending on their business hours and availability.
If you have any problems with your software package or installation process after reading the reviews and contacting customer service, make sure to take screenshots of those issues before calling in for assistance so that they can better diagnose what may be wrong. If there are many complaints about similar things happening amongst users online, it’s likely not just an isolated issue – and remember that this is true even if there isn’t much chatter about it yet! When possible, avoid downloading pirated versions of programs from torrent sites because these are usually filled with malware which could infect your computer system or steal important data like passwords or credit card information.
The best way to purchase high voltage software is to find a company that offers free trials – such as Avid, Adobe or Autodesk. These companies give you the opportunity to download their programs for 30 days so that you can see if it’s worth paying the hefty price tag before buying them outright. If your computer does have an issue and crashes during installation of high voltage software, don’t panic! There are often simple solutions available online which will allow you to fix almost any problem quickly and easily by yourself without waiting on hold with customer service representatives or sending in your device for repairs. We’ve partnered up with ThePCGuyz TV YouTube channel who has created step-by-step videos showing how easy these fixes can be done; just google “installation
