If you have a social media account at all, you should check out the Clemson campus’s Twitter account. It’s filled with Clemson athletes and Clemson students posting things on their feeds, but they also have lots of Clemson news, fun facts, and Clemson-related memes. Even if you aren’t on Twitter, it’s a great place to keep up to date with the Clemson social scene.
One of their tweets is a list of all the Clemson dorms that have been updated with dorm-code and student-friendly things. I don’t know if that counts as “hooch” or not, but it is certainly a fun way to show off your Clemson dorms to the world.
I have to admit, I did make a few Clemson friends last fall. I think it was more a social media thing than a dorm thing though. The Twitterverse is so huge that you could just as easily have a Clemson Facebook account. My friends on Facebook were the same friends I had on Twitter.
I know what you mean. I got a lot of Clemson friends on Twitter but I never had a lot of Clemson friends on Facebook. It’s probably because the Clemson dorm system makes it a bit harder to have good people on Facebook.
I think we should probably all just shut that down, but I am certainly not advocating the shutting down of the Clemson social media presence. I just wanted to share some thoughts about this. My friends and I were the primary Clemson social media accounts for a while, but I also used to use Twitter to keep up to date with Clemson news. So maybe there’s some good to be seen in the fact that we’re all on Facebook.
Facebook is a great way to keep up with school news. Just look at the Clemson players on The List. I think the next step is to have a Facebook account for every Clemson student on campus. That way we can just point to that student and they can see all the Clemson news that we post. It would also be interesting to have a Clemson page that just goes up and down the Clemson website. Then the students could check the Clemson page and click on stuff from the Clemson page.
I think that there is also a lot to gain from a Facebook page for students. One thing that I think would be great is if all Clemson football players went on Clemson.org and got their picture and their name on Clemson.org, then they could post that info on their Facebook page. We could use that as a way to share more news about Clemson to the students.
I’d love to see Clemson’s Facebook page, and I think it would be a great way for students to keep up with the latest news and events. Plus, if Clemson had a Facebook page for everyone, then that would be a great way to reach out to a larger audience of students.
I think it would be a great idea. If you’re a Clemson student, and you go to the football game, and you’re not there, you don’t want to have to look that Clemson.com page up. It would be great for people to know about all the great things happening in the team’s football program.
What would be a great way to keep up with all the news? A Clemson Facebook page. I mean what could be better than that? Even better than that is a Clemson Twitter account. So what if Clemson had a Twitter account? What if everyone in Clemson had a Twitter account? It would be amazing.
