For example, I’ve been following the people I’m following on Twitter for some time now, so I guess that’s a little different than following them on Facebook.
Facebook is a social network that lets you share your photos, videos, and events. But Twitter and LinkedIn are networks where people exchange information that enables them to build networks. Facebook lets you like each other, Twitter lets you follow each other, and LinkedIn lets you build your network.
