As a former NBA player myself, I can tell you that the NBA is a very important part of our lives. I’m a passionate basketball fan and I’m very much a fan of the NBA’s social media policy. The NBA is the most popular sport in this country and I’ve yet to hear a coach express his opinion to the effect that they “don’t want a social media policy.
I really wouldn’t say that we can’t express our opinion at all, but we can definitely express our opinion more slowly. On social, you have to be very careful about what you post.
We all know this, but NBA players have a lot of influence on the behavior of fans who follow their games online. Fans of the league are very careful to not let their personal opinions get hurt as they feel that it might affect the league’s popularity. For example, a fan of the Denver Nuggets was recently removed from the list of fans on NBA Live because she had posted a negative online review that was derogatory about the team.
People who try to post comments about the NBA have been known to get in trouble with the league for being “offensive to people.” The NBA also has a policy against “hate speech” and this policy is enforced pretty strictly. The NBA is also a part of a large social network that fans have access to, so they have a lot of influence on what the league does online.
The NBA is a fairly private organization, so there’s a lot less chance of people being able to get upset about something like this. But even if you’re upset about something, the NBA is a big enough company that you can still get your feelings out there.
We’re at the top of our game these days. Facebook, Apple, Twitter, and Google all have policies against hate speech on their platforms, and even my own company, Instagram, has a policy against political speech of any kind. The NBA has a very strict policy against hate speech on their website, so we’re all good with that.
We are very glad we have the NBA to work with. So we were really happy to see the social media policy change for the better. It’s only a matter of time before we all get to hate on the NBA for all the wrong reasons.
Of course, there is a side to this that we don’t really like. I mean, I love the NBA, but I hate that the league is so hypocritical in their hate speech policy. I don’t like that they are now afraid to speak out on political topics, and I don’t like that they have finally decided to take action against hate speech. The NBA should know better than to follow the likes of the NFL, or even the NHL.
If the NBA really wanted to be a global organization, they would be banning political speech on all platforms. This is just a bit much.
Yes, this is just a bit much. I mean, if the NBA wants to be a global organization, I would say ban political speech on all platforms. But the NBA is not a global organization, so this is just a bit much. But then again, that’s the problem: We’re supposed to follow the NBA because we are a global organization. But the NBA is so hypocritical about their hate speech policy, they’re not even going to ban it.
