I have a lot of friends on twitter and I love seeing what they create and think about. On my other social media accounts, I have some great pictures and video clips of our travel to Canada, the United States, and England. My favorite is the one of the plane taking us from San Francisco to London and back.

I think this goes a long way toward explaining the airline industry’s success, which is based on the fact that so many people are willing to pay for the convenience of flying with one or two companies.

I understand there were quite a few issues relating to social media during the company’s transition to going a distance away from the old way of doing things, but it looks like the company is coming together and taking a page from the online community. The new slogan for the company is “You Matter.” Now that’s a slogan that actually matters. I hope it’s a slogan that the other airlines read and use as well.
